KLM Shows Off Its Very First Airbus A350-900

KLM unveiled its inaugural Airbus A350-900 aircraft through several online announcements during June and July. One post in mid-June formally announced the jet's designation, while a subsequent video released in mid-July detailed the assembly process. KLM has strategically named its fleet after renowned Dutch artworks to honor the nation’s artistic heritage. Specifically, the new A350 is christened “The Night Watch,” referencing Rembrandt van Rijn’s celebrated masterpiece. This iconic painting represents one of the Netherlands’ most recognized works of art, solidifying its place within the country’s cultural landscape.
