KAI eyes follow-on KF-21 order from Seoul, as Indonesia talks continue

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) anticipates receiving a substantial follow-on order for 80 additional KF-21 fighter jets from South Korea. This anticipated delivery of eight KF-21 aircraft is targeted to conclude by the end of 2026. Currently, two production jets are undergoing verification flights and are slated for completion soon. KAI’s initial deliveries represent a significant step in equipping South Korea's air force with this advanced technology. Simultaneously, ongoing discussions continue between KAI and Indonesia regarding potential future collaborations on the KF-21 program.
