Jet2 confirms Leap-1A on remainder of A321neo fleet

Jet2 has finalized its engine selection strategy for its Airbus A321neo aircraft, committing to the CFM International Leap-1A powerplant across the remaining portion of its order. Initially, the airline had planned to utilize CFM engines for the entire fleet of 146 aircraft. This decision involves a further investment in 54 additional A321neos powered by the Leap-1A. Consequently, all 146 aircraft within this specific type will now operate with CFM International’s propulsion system. Jet2's commitment underscores their continued reliance on proven technology and aligns with previous announcements regarding their engine choices.
