Indonesia’s T-50i Golden Eagle makes its debut at Exercise Pitch Black 26

The Indonesian Air Force recently deployed its T-50i Golden Eagle aircraft to Australia's Northern Territory for the inaugural participation in Exercise Pitch Black 26. This marks the first time the advanced jet has been utilized within an Australian operational environment, showcasing Indonesia’s growing aviation capabilities. The exercise, hosted by the Royal Australian Air Force, took place from August 14th to September 9th, 2023. Approximately 26 nations participated in this multinational training activity involving over 2,800 personnel and more than 170 aircraft. The deployment underscores Indonesia’s commitment to international collaboration and enhancing its air force readiness through realistic combat scenarios.
