Airbus’s U030 Flexrotor begins maritime surveillance operations in the Baltic

Airbus Helicopters’ U030 Flexrotor, a tactical surveillance uncrewed aerial system, has commenced operational deployments within the Baltic Sea region. The Flexrotor is specifically designed for maritime surveillance tasks and represents an innovative approach to border security. Initial operations are taking place under contract with the Estonian Coast Guard. This deployment marks a significant milestone for the Flexrotor program following its successful completion of initial testing phases. Airbus Helicopters anticipates further expansion of the Flexrotor's operational capabilities in various environments as demand increases.
