Icelandair expands A320neo fleet with Aircastle deal

Icelandair has finalized a lease agreement for six Airbus A320neo aircraft from Aircastle, bolstering its ongoing fleet renewal strategy. These aircraft, manufactured between 2018 and 2020, are equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines. The new additions are slated to commence service before the summer of 2028. This follows Icelandair’s previous leasing arrangement of four A320neos from AviLease, which is expected to conclude in spring. The expansion demonstrates Icelandair's commitment to modernizing its operational capabilities within the European market.
