Icelandair 757 pilots disciplined after unauthorised low pass over islands

Two Icelandair Boeing 757-200 pilots have been subjected to disciplinary action by Icelandic authorities following an unauthorized low pass operation. The incident occurred during a scheduled flight from Frankfurt to Reykjavik, which took place on April 11th. The aircraft descended below its normal altitude and flew over Vestmannaeyjar airport. As a result of this violation, the cockpit crew’s licenses were suspended by the relevant regulatory body.
