Airbus secures undisclosed new buyer for A330 MRTT

Airbus’s defence unit has finalized a deal with an unnamed customer for its A330 multi-role tanker transport (MRTT). Jean-Brice Dumont, Airbus Defence & Space head of air power, confirmed the existence of this undisclosed purchaser during a recent event. Production output is projected to increase significantly, reaching seven aircraft annually by the end of 2027. Airbus stated that additional sales are anticipated, indicating further demand for the versatile MRTT platform. This new contract represents a continued success for Airbus's defense division and highlights the ongoing global need for military transport capabilities.
