Ibom Air finalized the acquisition of its third Airbus A220-300 aircraft, designated with registration 5N-CDC, furthering their fleet modernization strategy. The handover ceremony occurred at Airbus’s final assembly facility in Mirabel, Canada, a key location for producing these next-generation airliners. George Elokogie, Managing Director and CEO of Ibom Air, oversaw the signing of the transfer of title documents, officially marking the completion of the transaction. This delivery represents a significant step in Ibom Air's ongoing expansion plans within Nigeria’s aviation sector. The new aircraft joins two previously delivered A220-300s already operating within the airline’s growing network.
