CAE, Airbus to set up first A220 simulator in Singapore

Airbus and CAE joint-venture Flight Training Alliance will establish a new full-flight simulator for the Airbus A220 platform at the Airbus Asia Training Centre in Singapore. This marks the initial deployment of a CAE7000XR full-flight simulator specifically designed for the A220 aircraft. Operational readiness is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2027, signifying a significant expansion of training capabilities within Southeast Asia. The simulator’s arrival underscores Airbus' commitment to providing comprehensive pilot training solutions globally. Currently, it represents the first A220 simulator established by this partnership.
