Iberia authorised to carry out unrestricted heavy maintenance on A350 fleet

Iberia has successfully completed a two-year preparation period for its aircraft maintenance facilities and workforce, specifically focused on the Airbus A350 fleet. The Iberia MRO division has received unrestricted approval from the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA) for this critical certification. This marks a significant milestone as AESA is granting limitless A350 maintenance authorization immediately upon commencement of operations. Previously, authorizations were limited in scope and duration. Consequently, Iberia can now undertake comprehensive heavy maintenance procedures without restrictions on its entire A350 fleet.
