IAG rolls out SkyBreathe across 600-plus aircraft

International Airlines Group (IAG) is implementing OpenAirlines’ SkyBreathe platform across its extensive fleet of over 600 aircraft, encompassing Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, LEVEL and Vueling. The SkyBreathe system analyzes operational data to pinpoint opportunities for fuel consumption reduction within the airlines' operations. This deployment addresses ongoing pressures faced by IAG’s airlines regarding efficiency and sustainability. The initiative leverages real-time data insights to optimize flight routes and procedures. Currently, the rollout is underway at all five participating airlines as they strive to minimize their environmental impact.
