GKN Aerospace lands Pratt & Whitney vane deal

GKN Aerospace has finalized an agreement with Pratt & Whitney (P&W), a division of RTX, to incorporate low-pressure compressor (LPC) vanes into their existing risk and revenue sharing programme (RRSP). This contract represents a significant portion of the production volume for the main LPC vanes utilized in engines powering the PW1500G and PW1900G GTF™ aircraft models. The arrangement strengthens the established relationship between GKN Aerospace and P&W, focusing on key components within these modern engine platforms. Specifically, this deal addresses the demand for vanes across both engine types currently in operation. The partnership underscores continued collaboration on critical aerospace technologies.
