GE Aerospace, WZL-2 to explore F404-GE-102 engine support

GE Aerospace and Poland’s Military Aviation Works (WZL-2) have formalized a memorandum of understanding focused on bolstering the F404-GE-102 engine utilized by Poland's KAI FA-50 fighter jets. This collaboration will specifically investigate maintenance, repair, overhaul, and depot-level maintenance procedures for this critical powerplant. The agreement was unveiled during the MSPO international defence industry exhibition held in Kielce, Poland, signifying a key partnership between the two entities. WZL-2 will contribute its expertise to support the operational readiness of the Polish air force’s fleet. This initiative underscores GE Aerospace’s commitment to providing long-term support solutions for military aircraft globally.
