GE Aerospace to buy precision casting specialist CPP

GE Aerospace has finalized an agreement to purchase Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) from Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners. The acquisition of CPP, based in Cleveland, Ohio, will bolster GE Aerospace’s capabilities within the critical area of highly engineered castings. CPP primarily serves the commercial aerospace and defense industries, producing precision castings and sub-assemblies for these demanding sectors. Established in 1991, CPP is recognized as one of the world's largest manufacturers of this type of component. This strategic move strengthens GE Aerospace’s supply chain and supports its ongoing advancements in aviation technology.
