Finnair appoints board member Siitonen as CFO after predecessor quits for Valmet role

Finnair has appointed Jussi Siitonen as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately. Siitonen previously served on Finnair’s board since 2024 and joins the airline following a tenure with Fiskars. Pia Aaltonen-Forsell resigned from her position as CFO after one year to accept a similar role at Finnish technology firm Valmet. The Oneworld carrier is replacing Aaltonen-Forsell with Siitonen, who was previously a member of Finnair's board. This transition reflects Finnair’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership team within the finance department.
