Drukair stays with CFM to power A321XLRs

In 2024, Bhutanese carrier Drukair finalized its selection of the CFM International Leap-1A engine for its new aircraft orders. The agreement encompasses five Airbus aircraft: two A321XLR models and three A320neo variants. This decision was revealed by Drukair approximately two years prior, solidifying their commitment to this particular engine type. The long-range jets are part of a larger agreement disclosed by the airline. Drukair states that this choice “further strengthens” their operational capabilities within the region.
