Delta’s Austin Build-Up Goes Long-Haul

Delta Air Lines is expanding its operations at its Atlanta (ATL) facility, specifically focusing on long-haul international routes. This strategic move represents Delta's re-entry into the lucrative Texas-Europe travel corridor following a period of over thirty years without direct flights. The airline intends to utilize the expanded infrastructure for servicing destinations across Europe. Initial plans involve launching several transatlantic services from Atlanta. These new routes are expected to significantly increase passenger traffic through Delta’s hub in Georgia.
