Allegiant Air reported strong second-quarter results following the completion of its merger with Sun Country on May 13th. The combined entity achieved an impressive $158 million in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA). Operating revenues reached a substantial $943.5 million, driven largely by Allegiant’s performance which generated a record $776 million in revenue. This financial success reflects the integration efforts undertaken by both airlines. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also formally approved the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for operation, marking a significant step forward for the manufacturer.
