Coulson buys 10 former RCAF C-130 Hercules aircraft for firefighting fleet

Coulson Aviation Canada has completed the purchase of ten decommissioned Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CC-130H Hercules aircraft. The acquisition represents a significant investment by Coulson, marking their entry into the specialized aerial firefighting market. These aircraft will be repurposed and outfitted to serve as part of a new firefighting fleet operated by Coulson. Initial plans involve deploying the modified Hercules across North America to combat wildfires effectively. Coulson anticipates commencing operations with this fleet in the upcoming season, leveraging the robust capabilities of these legacy transport planes.
