COMAC’s new compact C919 variant completes first test flight in Shanghai

Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) successfully conducted the initial test flight for its newly developed, smaller C919 aircraft version. The flight took place within Shanghai, marking a significant milestone in the program's development. This particular variant is designed as a 600-aircraft model and represents a scaled-down adaptation of the larger C919. During the test flight, engineers evaluated key performance characteristics and systems onboard the new design.
