Airbus A350-1000ULR completes record 24-hour test flight

Airbus successfully concluded a landmark 24-hour test flight aboard an A350-1000ULR flight-test aircraft, marking the longest point-to-point journey for this type of aircraft. The campaign commenced on July 23rd with MSN707’s departure from Toulouse, France, to Melbourne, Australia. Following a five-day period in Melbourne, the aircraft undertook its return journey back to Toulouse. This extended flight was integral to development testing associated with Qantas' Project Sunrise program. Airbus utilized this intensive evaluation to assess performance and operational capabilities during long-haul flights.
