Brakes activated during Vietnam Airlines 787 takeoff overrun, report finds

A recent report details the circumstances surrounding the October 2nd takeoff of Vietnam Airlines flight VA093 from Munich Airport. The Boeing 787-9 experienced repeated brake applications throughout its rollout prior to the overrun. Investigators determined that multiple brake activations occurred as the aircraft accelerated down the runway. This event resulted in a significant loss of directional control for the crew. Consequently, the aircraft overran the end of the runway at Terminal 1 and impacted an inflatable advertising display.
