Boeing orders slow in August, deliveries edge lower

Boeing achieved a delivery rate comparable to its performance over the past decade, having delivered 418 aircraft through August. Despite a slowdown in the landing of new aircraft orders during the month of August, Boeing still managed to increase its backlog by securing deals for fifteen jets. Thirteen of these jets were 787 Dreamliner widebodies, which have been particularly popular recently.
