Boeing delivers first F-model Chinooks for Egyptian air force

Boeing completed the delivery of five CH-47F Chinook helicopters to Egypt’s air force, marking a significant step in a contract finalized in January 2023. The handover occurred during the El Alamein air show between September 8th and 10th. This initial delivery comprises part of an overall order of twelve new Chinooks valued at approximately $426 million. Cairo secured this substantial investment for advanced transport capabilities within its armed forces. Boeing continues to fulfill this key defense agreement with the Egyptian military.
