Boeing and SPEAA union again reach contract terms, outcome still uncertain

Boeing has reached a new agreement with the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) following revisions to a previously rejected offer. The proposed four-year contract represents another attempt to resolve ongoing negotiations between the aerospace manufacturer and its engineering workforce. Approximately 17,000 engineers and professional employees are covered by this latest proposal. Union members who initially voted down Boeing’s initial offer now face a renewed decision regarding the revised terms. However, the ultimate outcome remains uncertain as final approval hinges on union member acceptance.
