BermudAir emerges as customer behind previous undisclosed A220-300 order

BermudAir has confirmed its purchase of ten Airbus A220-300 aircraft, an agreement initially placed earlier this year. The Bermudian airline revealed the deal during the Farnborough air show, marking a significant expansion for their fleet. These twinjets will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines, showcasing a modern propulsion system. Deliveries are scheduled to begin at a date not yet specified, representing a substantial investment in the carrier’s future operations. Previously, the Chief of Bermudian carrier had been linked to proposed CSeries ventures within the United Kingdom.
