Belgium to send three F-16s to Ukraine by year end

Belgium will deliver three Lockheed Martin F-16 fighter aircraft to Ukraine before the conclusion of this calendar year. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the commitment via X on September 29th, intending for these jets to bolster defenses against increasing Russian Geran-4 drone attacks. These deliveries are accompanied by incoming F-16 ammunition shipments from Belgium and other international partners. This support aims to strengthen Ukraine’s air capabilities in its ongoing conflict with Russia.
