Artemis III Orion Crew and Service Models Joined

On July 30, 2026, technicians successfully integrated the Orion crew and service models within the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. This crucial assembly marked a key step toward preparing for Artemis III, slated to launch from Florida. The resulting configuration will accommodate the six-person mission team including NASA astronauts Randy Bresnik, Andre Douglas, and Frank Rubio alongside ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano.
