Airbus A350F freighter takes first flight

Airbus announced the completion of the maiden flight for its new Airbus A350F freighter test aircraft, marking the commencement of a comprehensive nine-month flight testing program. MSN 700, the initial aircraft in this series, undertook a four hour and ten minute flight reaching an altitude of 25,000 feet. The flight utilized flight-test instrumentation to gather crucial data during the campaign. This represents a significant step forward in introducing the wide-body cargo aircraft to the market. Airbus anticipates detailed analysis from these tests will inform final design adjustments before entering production.
