Air Arabia expects third-quarter debut for Saudi airline venture

Air Arabia anticipates launching its new Saudi Arabian airline operation during the third quarter of this year. The budget carrier, alongside investment partners, secured operational rights last year to establish an operator in Dammam. Air Arabia holds a 49% ownership stake within the joint venture, named Air Arabia DMM. This venture has been granted the necessary permissions to begin operations. Initial reports indicate a planned commencement date sometime before the end of September.
