Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) is undertaking a significant rebuild of its West Security Federal Inspection Building, aiming to address long-term capacity challenges at the airport. The project involves constructing entirely new concourses, with no addition of gates planned as part of this phase. This ambitious endeavor represents an investment of approximately $2.5 billion and is slated for completion in late 2023. Construction began in early 2021, utilizing a design-build approach to expedite the process.
