WestJet Adds Five New Routes

WestJet Airlines is expanding its route network significantly, announcing the addition of five new destinations across North America. The airline’s expansion strategy focuses on bolstering service to key markets within Canada and the United States. These new routes are scheduled to commence operations during both November and December of this year. Specifically, WestJet plans to launch flights to Kelowna, British Columbia; Medicine Hat, Alberta; St John's, Newfoundland and Labrador; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Fredericton, New Brunswick. This strategic move aims to cater to growing passenger demand in these regions and further solidify WestJet’s position as a leading Canadian carrier.
