Vertical Aerospace has obtained approximately US$100 million in funding to advance the certification and commercialization of its Valo aircraft platform. This investment is comprised of three distinct parts, totaling around $100 million. Mudrick Capital Management contributed $40 million through a recent $5 million draw, alongside an accelerated $35 million draw from other investors. The funds will be instrumental in supporting Vertical’s ongoing efforts toward achieving regulatory approval for the Valo. This financing demonstrates continued confidence in Vertical's strategy as it prepares for market entry with its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
