Vertical Aerospace Opens U.K. Air Taxi Assembly Center

Vertical Aerospace has officially opened its new air taxi assembly center in Cambrils, Spain. The facility is designed to manufacture certification-compliant VX4 aircraft, marking an important step towards commercial operations. Initial output will focus on producing approximately 25 Valos each year for domestic use within the United Kingdom. This strategic location allows Vertical Aerospace to bolster its manufacturing capabilities and meet growing demand for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles. The Spanish site represents a key component of the company’s broader strategy for scaling up production and supporting its ambitious growth plans.
