USAF explores CCA employment in realistic conditions

The United States Air Force is actively developing tactics, techniques, and procedures specifically tailored for its upcoming uncrewed fighter fleet. Recent exercises have focused on integrating the Anduril YFQ-44A collaborative combat aircraft into operational scenarios to assess real-world performance. These tests were conducted by the USAF’s Experimental Operations Unit (EOU), a component of Air Combat Command, over several days at Creech AFB in Nevada. The goal of this work involves evaluating how the CCA can be employed effectively within realistic conditions. Data gathered from these operations will directly inform future development and integration strategies for the USAF's unmanned aerial systems.
