Taiwan’s first F-16 Block 70 fighters seen departing Lockheed factory

Two Taiwan Air Force F-16 Block 70 fighter jets were observed landing at Lockheed Martin's F-35 production facility in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of the initial delivery to the island nation. Planespotter Jake Woodward captured images of the aircraft arriving at NAS Fort Worth after departing from the Lockheed factory. These new-build F-16s represent the first of their kind destined for Taiwan following a significant procurement agreement. The jets are currently en route to Asia, marking a crucial step in bolstering Taiwan’s air defense capabilities. This deployment underscores ongoing efforts by the United States to support its regional partners through military assistance.
