StandardAero, GMR Aero Technic expand engine support in India

StandardAero and GMR Aero Technic have formalized a supplier services agreement to bolster engine support capabilities within the Indian market. This collaboration focuses specifically on providing on-wing maintenance for airlines operating in India. The initial scope of work encompasses support for several narrow-body engines, notably CFM International’s CFM56-7B, LEAP-1A, and LEAP-1B models. India represents a significant market for the latest generation LEAP engines currently utilized by Airbus aircraft. StandardAero highlighted this expansion as crucial for meeting growing demand related to these advanced propulsion systems.
