Sri Lanka joins EHang’s fast-track programme

Sri Lanka has become the initial nation participating in EHang's expedited program designed to significantly reduce the time required for certification and adoption of its EH216-S electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) platform. The initiative aims to transform a timeline previously spanning several years into just months, representing a substantial acceleration of deployment. EHang is actively working to expedite the uptake of its autonomous aircraft across international markets through this focused effort. Colombo will be central to this process, collaborating with EHang on streamlining regulatory procedures and facilitating quicker integration. This strategic partnership underscores EHang’s commitment to rapidly expanding its global presence within the burgeoning urban air mobility sector.
