SpaceX test-fires Starship Super Heavy booster ahead of critical Flight 14

SpaceX conducted a static fire test on December 8th, 2023, utilizing the full complement of 33 Raptor engines on the Super Heavy booster. This crucial pre-flight activity is intended to prepare for Starship’s upcoming orbital launch, designated Flight 14. The purpose of this test was to validate engine performance and system functionality prior to the mission's commencement. SpaceX aims to achieve an initial orbital demonstration with this particular Starship configuration. Following successful completion of the static fire, engineers will continue preparations for the vehicle’s next flight.
