South Korea takes delivery of first production KF-21 fighter

On September 22, 2026, the South Korean Air Force officially received its inaugural batch of KF-21 Boramae fighters, marking a significant milestone in the aircraft’s development program. This initial delivery represents the culmination of years of research and development efforts undertaken by the Republic of Korea Aerospace Development Administration (ROKA ADA). The KF-21 is designed to augment the capabilities of the ROKAF fleet with advanced multirole combat performance. Production of these fighter jets was overseen by the ROKA ADA, signifying a key step towards achieving full operational capability for this next generation platform.
