JetBlue Airways is offering flight attendants an incentive of $5,000 to work over 150 hours this month in response to significant operational challenges. The airline acknowledges it’s currently experiencing a staffing crisis alongside disruptions caused by severe summer thunderstorms. These weather events have contributed substantially to increased workloads for the existing crew members at JetBlue. Specifically, the company intends to bolster its operations during this peak travel season. Flight attendants who accept the offer will be compensated generously to address immediate personnel shortages.
