Setna iO acquires Air Cairo CFM56 engine

Setna iO has completed the acquisition of a CFM56-5B4/3 engine formerly operated by Air Cairo, according to a company statement. The engine boasts significant remaining operational life with approximately 11,000 cycles remaining on its Fan & Booster and Bearing Support modules. Furthermore, the Low-Pressure Turbine module possesses around 6,000 cycles, indicating substantial future usage potential. Setna iO highlighted these figures as key factors in their decision to purchase this asset. This transaction marks an important addition to Setna iO’s portfolio of aviation engines.
