Saab spies opportunities in space domain as defense firm signs three MoUs

Saab, a Swedish defense firm, recently formalized its ambitions within the evolving space domain through the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). These agreements represent Saab’s strategic focus on capitalizing on growing interest and activity surrounding space technologies and services. The initial MoUs were established with Space Up Sweden, a consortium dedicated to fostering innovation in the Swedish space sector, and Clearspace Vision, a company specializing in debris removal solutions. Furthermore, Saab has also entered into an MoU with Astroten Technology, which is developing advanced satellite communication systems. This multi-faceted approach demonstrates Saab's commitment to expanding its capabilities across various aspects of the burgeoning space industry, including technology development and operational support.
