RwandAir intends to receive a total of eight Airbus A330-200 aircraft during the current financial year. This acquisition strategy is driven by ambitious growth plans targeting expanded operations across Europe and the Far East regions. The airline anticipates taking delivery of these new airframes in stages throughout the year, bolstering its long-haul fleet capabilities. Currently, RwandAir operates a fleet consisting of twelve aircraft, including five Bombardier Q400s and seven Airbus A220-100s. These additions will significantly enhance RwandAir’s ability to serve an increasing number of destinations with greater passenger capacity.
