Romania’s Tarom introduces its first 737 Max

Tarom, Romania's national flag carrier, has received its inaugural Boeing 737 MAX aircraft as part of a significant fleet modernization initiative. The delivery comprises four new twinjets within the program, aiming to enhance the airline’s operational capabilities and passenger experience. Specifically, the initial 737 MAX 8 – bearing registration YR-BGO – was secured through a lease agreement with CDB Aviation. This strategic move reflects Tarom’s commitment to adopting advanced aviation technology for improved efficiency and service standards. The incorporation of this modern aircraft signifies a key step in Tarom’s long-term growth strategy within the east European market.
