Romania orders 12 Airbus H225M helicopters to replace IAR-330 Puma fleet

Romania finalized a contract with Airbus Helicopters on October 7th for the procurement of twelve Airbus H225M multirole military helicopters. This acquisition is intended to fully replace Romania’s existing IAR-330 Puma fleet, which has been in service for many years. The deal represents a significant investment by the Romanian Ministry of National Defence into modernizing its aviation capabilities. These new helicopters will bolster Romania's air support and operational effectiveness across various missions. Deliveries are expected to commence shortly following the formal signing of the agreement.
