Riyadh Air launches nonstop service between Saudi capital and Manchester

Riyadh Air initiated operations with a direct flight from King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh to Manchester, marking the airline’s debut transatlantic route. The inaugural journey took place on June 21st, 2024, connecting two major cities across continents for the first time. Passengers boarded at RUH and arrived at Birmingham Airport (BHX), which serves as the operational base for the new service. This represents a significant expansion of Riyadh Air's network following its launch earlier this year. The nonstop flights will operate three times per week, offering travelers convenient access between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
