Pilatus opens $123M composite center in Switzerland

Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland inaugurated its expansive, state-of-the-art composite manufacturing facility near Yverdon-la-Ville, Switzerland, at a cost of CHF 100 million (approximately $123 million). This significant investment underscores the company’s strategic focus on utilizing advanced materials and techniques within its aircraft production processes. The new center will primarily support the fabrication of components for Pilatus's PC-24 Metroliner series and future models. Operations are expected to begin in early 2024, creating approximately 60 skilled jobs in the region.
