The Philippine air force (PAF) will establish an in-country training capability following a contract announcement on October 8th. Sikorsky’s S-70i Black Hawk training devices, specifically a full flight simulator and a virtual maintenance trainer, are included within the order. This initial delivery represents a significant step for the PAF as they operate their recently acquired fleet of S-70i helicopters. Sustainment and spares support is also being provided through to 2032. These resources will bolster operational readiness and maintain proficiency among Filipino pilots and technicians.
